दिशो दश व्याहरतां मोक्ष त्यक्तुं मनो दधे । दसों दिशाओंमें विलाप करते हुए उन प्राणियोंका करुणायुक्त वचन सुनकर देवलने मोक्षधर्म (संन्यास)-को त्याग देनेका विचार किया
diśo daśa vyāharatāṃ mokṣaṃ tyaktuṃ mano dadhe |
ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပာယနက ပြောသည်—ဒిశတစ်ဆယ်လုံးမှ ထွက်ပေါ်လာသော ကရုဏာပြည့်ဝသည့် ငိုကြွေးသံများကို ကြားသော် ဒေဝလသည် သတ္တဝါတို့၏ ဒုက္ခကြောင့် စိတ်လှုပ်ရှားကာ၊ သူတို့၏ အကျပ်အတည်းကို တုံ့ပြန်ရမည့် ဓမ္မတာ၏ ဆွဲငင်မှုကြောင့် မိုက္ခဓမ္မ—သံန്യാസ (လောကစွန့်ခြင်း)—၏ လမ်းကို စွန့်လွှတ်ရန် စိတ်ထဲတွင် ဆုံးဖြတ်하였다။
