शल्यस्य सेनापत्याभ्युपगमः | Śalya’s Acceptance of Command
कृपणं विलपन्नार्तो जरयाभिपरिप्लुत: । ग्रियते रुदतां मध्ये ज्ञातीनां न स पूरुष:
sañjaya uvāca | kṛpaṇaṃ vilapann ārto jarayābhipariplutaḥ | grīyate rudatāṃ madhye jñātīnāṃ na sa pūruṣaḥ ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်။ အိုမင်းခြင်းကြောင့် ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာ ပျက်စီးယိုယွင်းလာပြီး ရောဂါဒဏ်ခံရကာ သနားဖွယ် ငိုကြွေးညည်းတွားလျက်၊ ဆွေမျိုးသားချင်းများ ဝိုင်းထိုင်၍ ငိုယိုနေကြသည့် အလယ်၌ အကူအညီမဲ့စွာ ညည်းတွားရင်း အသက်ကို စွန့်လွှတ်သွားသူ—ထိုသူကို ‘ယောကျာ်း’ ဟု ခေါ်ရန် မထိုက်တန်။
