ततो देवो मुनि दृष्टवा हर्षाविष्टमतीव ह । सुराणां हितकामार्थ महादेवो5भ्यभाषत,मुनिको हर्षके आवेशसे अत्यन्त मतवाला हुआ देख महादेवजीने (ब्राह्मणका रूप धारण करके) देवताओंके हितके लिये उनसे इस प्रकार कहा--
tato devo munir dṛṣṭvā harṣāviṣṭam atīva ha | surāṇāṁ hitakāmārthaṁ mahādevo 'bhyabhāṣata ||
ထို့နောက် မဟာဒေဝသည် နတ်သဘင်ရဟန်းကို မြင်၍ အလွန်အမင်း ဝမ်းမြောက်လွန်ကဲနေသည်ကို သိမြင်ကာ၊ နတ်တို့၏ အကျိုးအတွက်—ဒေဝတို့အတွက် အကျိုးရှိရာကို ရည်ရွယ်လျက်—သူ့အား မိန့်ကြားတော်မူ၏။
