समागम्याथ शनकैर श्वत्थामा महाबल: । तव पुत्राश्च कार्त्स्न्येन जुगुपु: शल्यमाहवे

Transliteration

samāgamya atha śanakair aśvatthāmā mahābalaḥ | tava putrāś ca kārtsnyena jugupuḥ śalyam āhave ||

Translation

သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– ထို့နောက် အင်အားကြီးသော အရှွတ္ထာမာသည် တဖြည်းဖြည်း ချဉ်းကပ်လာ၍ သင်၏သားတို့အားလုံးလည်း တစ်စုတစ်စည်းတည်းဖြင့် စစ်မြေပြင်၌ ရှလျကို ကာကွယ်하였다။ ကုန္တီ၏သားတို့က ရှလျကို အရပ်ရပ်မှ ပိတ်ဆို့ထားသည်ကို မြင်သော် ကෘတဝರ್ಮာနှင့် ကೃပာචာရျ တို့သည် ဒေါသထကြွ၍ သူတို့ထံသို့ ပြေးဝင်လာကြပြီး၊ ထို့အပြင် ဗီရသူရဲ ဥလူကနှင့် သုဗလ၏သား ရှကునိ တို့လည်း မြားမိုးကြားတွင် ရှလျကို ကာကွယ်ရန် လိုက်ပါလာကြသည်။ ဤပိုဒ်သည် စစ်ခေါင်းဆောင်အပေါ် သစ္စာနှင့် အဖွဲ့ဖက်တာဝန်က အကြမ်းဖက်မှုကို ပိုမိုပြင်းထန်စေကြောင်း၊ စစ်သူရဲတို့၏ ရွေးချယ်မှုများသည် ထိန်းသိမ်းမှုမဟုတ်ဘဲ ဒေါသနှင့် သစ္စာတရားကြောင့် မောင်းနှင်ခံရကြောင်း ထင်ဟပ်စေသည်။
