अभ्ययु: कौरवा राजन् पाण्डवानामनीकिनीम् । नरेश्वर! तत्पश्चात् एक साथ संगठित होकर जूझनेवाले दोनों पक्षोंके वीरोंका वह युद्ध बड़ा भयंकर हो गया। राजन! कौरव-योद्धाओंने अपनी सारी सेनाओंको एकत्र करके पाण्डव-सेनापर धावा बोल दिया
sañjaya uvāca | abhyayuḥ kauravā rājan pāṇḍavānām anīkinīm | nareśvara tatpaścāt eka-sātha-saṅghaṭitāḥ yoddhum ubhayapakṣīyā vīrāḥ samare 'tibhayānakaṃ yuddham akurvan | rājan kaurava-yoddhāḥ sarvāḥ senāḥ samāhūya pāṇḍava-senām abhyadhāvan |
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်—အို မင်းကြီး၊ ကောရဝတို့သည် ပाण्डဝတို့၏ စစ်တပ်ကို တိုက်ခိုက်ရန် တက်လာကြ၏။ ထို့နောက် အို လူတို့၏ အရှင်၊ နှစ်ဖက်သူရဲကောင်းများသည် တစ်စုတစ်စည်းတည်း အတန်းညီညီ စုပေါင်းတိုက်ခိုက်ကြသဖြင့် စစ်ပွဲသည် အလွန်ကြောက်မက်ဖွယ် ဖြစ်လာ၏။ အို မင်းကြီး၊ ကောရဝစစ်သည်များသည် မိမိတို့၏ အင်အားအားလုံးကို စုစည်းကာ ပाण्डဝတပ်မတော်ပေါ်သို့ တဟုန်ထိုး ဝင်ရောက်တိုက်ခိုက်ကြ၏။
