Aśvatthāmā’s Stuti of Rudra and Śiva’s Empowerment (सौप्तिकपर्व, अध्याय ७)
नित्यानन्दप्रमुदिता वागीशा वीतमत्सरा: । प्राप्याष्टगुणमैश्वर्य ये न यास्यन्ति वै स्मयम्
nityānandapramuditā vāgīśā vītamatsarāḥ | prāpyāṣṭaguṇamaiśvaryaṃ ye na yāsyanti vai smayam ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်—သူတို့သည် အမြဲတမ်း မပြတ်မလပ်သော အာနန္ဒသုခ၌ ပျော်ရွှင်နေကြ၍ စကားအာဏာကို ပိုင်ဆိုင်ကြပြီး မနာလိုမှုကင်းစင်ကြသည်။ အဏိမာ၊ မဟိမာ စသည့် အဋ္ဌဂုဏ် အိုင်ශ්ဝရယကို ရရှိထားသော်လည်း မာနနှင့် မိမိကိုယ်ကို မြှောက်တင်ခြင်းသို့ မကျရောက်ကြ။
