अध्याय १ — न्यग्रोधवनोपवेशनम् तथा द्रौणिनिश्चयः

नामृष्यन्त महेष्वासा: क्रोधामर्षवशं गता: । राज्ञो वधेन संतप्ता मुहूर्त समवस्थिता:
Transliteration
nāmṛṣyanta maheṣvāsāḥ krodhāmarṣavaśaṁ gatāḥ | rājño vadheṇa santaptā muhūrtaṁ samavasthitāḥ ||
Translation
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– မခံနိုင်တော့သဖြင့်၊ ဒေါသနှင့် အရှက်အနာတရကြောင့် လွှမ်းမိုးခံရသော မဟာဓနုဓာရတို့သည် မုဟူရတတစ်ခါလောက် ထိုနေရာတွင် တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာ ရပ်နေကြ၏။ မိမိတို့ဘုရင်ကို သတ်ဖြတ်ခံရခြင်းကြောင့် ဝမ်းနည်းပူလောင်၍ အတွင်း၌ မီးလောင်သကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်နေကြသည်။ ထိုတိတ်ဆိတ်မှုသည် သည်းခံတည်ငြိမ်ခြင်းမဟုတ်ဘဲ၊ ဒုရ္ယောဓန သေဆုံးပြီးနောက် ဒေါသနှင့် အရှက်ကွဲမှုတို့ စုဆောင်းအားတက်လာသည့် တင်းမာသော ခဏတာဖြစ်၍ နောက်တစ်ဆင့် လက်တုံ့ပြန်အကြမ်းဖက်မှု၏ အမှောင်ကို ဖွင့်လှစ်ပေးမည်ဖြစ်သည်။
