न सन्ति लोकेषु पुमांस ईदृशा इत्येव ये भावितबुद्धयः सदा । ज्ञास्यन्ति ते55त्मानमिमेडद्य पाण्डवा विपर्यये षण्ढतिला इवाफला:
Vaiśampāyana uvāca:
na santi lokeṣu pumāṁsa īdṛśā ity eva ye bhāvitabuddhayaḥ sadā |
jñāsyanti te ’tmānam ime ’dya pāṇḍavā viparyaye ṣaṇḍhatilā ivāphalāḥ ||
ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပါယနက ပြောသည်– «‘လောကသုံးပါး၌ ငါတို့ကဲ့သို့သော ယောကျ်ား မရှိ’ ဟူသော မာနကို အမြဲတမ်း စိတ်ထဲတွင် မွေးမြူထားသူတို့—အဲဒီပန်ဒဝတို့ပင် ယခု ဆန့်ကျင်ဘက် အခြေအနေသို့ ကျရောက်ကာ အတွင်းအနှစ်မရှိသော နှမ်းစေ့အလွတ်ကဲ့သို့ အကျိုးမဲ့ အားနည်းသွားကြ၏။ ယနေ့ သူတို့သည် မိမိတို့၏ အခြေအနေမှန်ကို သိလာကြလိမ့်မည်»။
