वैदूर्यदण्डांश्व शुभान् पतितानड्कुशान् भुवि । बद्धा: सादिभुजाग्रेषु सुवर्णविकृता: कशा:
sañjaya uvāca
vaidūryadaṇḍāṁś ca śubhān patitān aṅkuśān bhuvi |
baddhāḥ sādibhuja-agreṣu suvarṇa-vikṛtāḥ kaśāḥ ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်— «မြေပြင်ပေါ်တွင် ဝိုင်ဒူရျ မဏိတပ်ထားသော လက်ကိုင်များပါသည့် လှပသော မြင်းထိန်းတံ (goad) များ အများအပြား လဲကျနေ၏။ ထို့ပြင် စီးသူတို့၏ လက်တွင် နီးကပ်စွာ ကိုင်ထားခဲ့သော ရွှေဖြင့် ပြုလုပ်ထားသည့် ကြာပွတ်များလည်း ဖြတ်တောက်ခံရ၍ ကျသွားနေ၏။ ဤမြင်ကွင်းသည် စစ်ပွဲအတွင်း အမိန့်နှင့် ထိန်းချုပ်မှု၏ ကိရိယာများတောင် ပျက်စီးသွားကာ အကြမ်းဖက်မှုအလယ်၌ စည်းကမ်းတရား ပြိုကွဲသွားခြင်းကို ပြသနေသည်။»
