अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

कर्णपार्षतयोर्मध्ये त्वदीयानां महारण: । भारत! कर्ण और धृष्टद्युम्नके बीचमें खड़े हुए आपके महामनस्वी योद्धाओंका पाण्डव- सैनिकोंके साथ महान संग्राम हुआ
karṇapārṣatayor madhye tvadīyānāṃ mahāraṇaḥ | bhārata! karṇa-dhṛṣṭadyumnayor madhye sthitānāṃ tava mahāmanasvināṃ yoddhṝṇāṃ pāṇḍava-sainikaiḥ saha mahān saṅgrāmo 'bhavat |
စဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်။ ဘာရတရေ—ကာဏ္ဏနှင့် ဓೃષ્ટദ്യုမ္နအကြား နေရာ၌ သင်၏ စိတ်ဓာတ်မြင့်မြတ်သော စစ်သူရဲများသည် ကာဏ္ဏနှင့် ဓೃષ્ટദ്യုမ္နကြားတွင် တန်းစီရပ်ကာ ပाण्डဝတပ်များနှင့် အလွန်ကြီးမား၍ ကြောက်မက်ဖွယ် တိုက်ပွဲကြီးထဲသို့ ဆွဲငင်ခံရကြ၏။ ထို့ကြောင့် စစ်ပွဲသည် ခေါင်းဆောင်တို့အပေါ် သစ္စာနှင့် စစ်၏ မရပ်မနား တောင်းဆိုမှုတို့ကြောင့် ပိုမိုဖောင်းပွလာကာ သတ်ဖြတ်မှုအလယ်၌ ဓမ္မနှင့် ထိန်းချုပ်မှုတို့ကို စမ်းသပ်နေသကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်လာ၏။
