द्रोण–सात्यकि-युद्धम्
Droṇa–Sātyaki Engagement
पुन: सप्तशतानन्यान् सहस््रन॑ चानिवर्तिन: । चिक्षेपायुतशश्नान्यांस्ते5घ्नन् द्रोणस्प तां चमूम्,तत्पश्चात् सात सौ और फिर एक हजार ऐसे बाण छोड़े जो किसी प्रकार प्रतिहत होनेवाले नहीं थे। तदनन्तर अर्जुनने दस-दस हजार बाणोंद्वारा प्रहार किया। उन सभी बाणोंने द्रोणाचार्यकी उस सेनाका संहार कर डाला

punaḥ saptaśatān anyān sahasraṃ cānivartinaḥ |
cikṣepāyutaśaś cānyāṃs te ’ghnan droṇasya tāṃ camūm ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်—ထို့နောက် သူသည် မြားခုနစ်ရာကို ထပ်မံလွှတ်၍၊ ထို့နောက် ပြန်လှန်မရနိုင်သော မြားတစ်ထောင်ကို လွှတ်လိုက်သည်။ ထို့အပြီးတွင် အာర్జုနသည် မြားသောင်းသောင်းတင်တင်ကို ဆက်လက်ပစ်ခတ်ခဲ့ပြီး၊ ထိုမြားများက ဒ್ರೋဏာ၏ တပ်ဖွဲ့ကို ခုတ်လှဲသတ်ဖြတ်လိုက်သည်။ ဤပိုဒ်သည် စစ်၏ မရပ်မနား လည်ပတ်မှုကို ထင်ဟပ်စေသည်—ကျွမ်းကျင်မှုနှင့် အင်အားက စစ်တန်းစီမှုများကို ဖိနှိပ်အနိုင်ယူသော်လည်း၊ ဓမ္မအရ တင်းမာမှုကိုတော့ စကားမပြောဘဲ ထားရှိထားသည်။
