द्रोणसायकनुन्नानां भग्नानां मधुसूदन । कर्णेन त्रास्यमानानामवस्थानं न विद्यते,“मधुसूदन! द्रोणाचार्यके बाणोंसे घायल और कर्णसे भयभीत होकर भागते हुए हमारे सैनिक कहीं भी ठहर नहीं पाते हैं
sañjaya uvāca |
droṇasāyaka-nunnānāṃ bhagnānāṃ madhusūdana |
karṇena trāsyamānānām avasthānaṃ na vidyate ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်— «အို မဓုသූဒန၊ ဒြောဏာ၏ မြားများကြောင့် ထိုးနှက်၍ မောင်းနှင်ခံရကာ စိတ်ဓာတ်ပျက်စီးသွားပြီး ကර්ဏ၏ ကြောက်လန့်မှုကြောင့် ထိတ်လန့်နေသော ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ စစ်သည်တို့သည် မည်သည့်နေရာတွင်မျှ တည်ငြိမ်စွာ မရပ်တည်နိုင်ကြ; မည်သည့်တပ်စခန်းကိုမျှ မထိန်းထားနိုင်ကြ»။
