भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ९६: सौभद्रस्य आक्रमणम्, अलम्बुसस्य प्रतिविधानम्

सिंहनादेन महता नेमिघोषेण चैव ह । खुरशब्दनिपातैश्व कम्पयन्तो वसुन्धराम्,वे महान् सिंहनाद, रथके पहियोंकी घरघराहट और घोड़ोंकी टाप पड़नेसे होनेवाले महान् शब्दके द्वारा वसुधाको कम्पित कर रहे थे
siṃhanādena mahatā nemighoṣeṇa caiva ha | khuraśabdanipātaiś ca kampayanto vasundharām ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– ကြီးမားသော ခြင်္သေ့ဟောက်သံ၊ ရထားဘီးများ၏ မြည်ဟည်းသံ၊ မြင်းခွာများ၏ ထိုးကျသံတို့ဖြင့် သူတို့သည် မြေကြီးကိုပင် တုန်ခါစေခဲ့ကြ၏—စစ်တပ်များ တိုက်ပွဲထဲသို့ တိုးဝင်လာစဉ် စစ်အင်အား၏ ကြောက်မက်ဖွယ် လှိုင်းတံပိုးတစ်ရပ် ဖြစ်လေသည်။
