अध्याय ८८ — घटोत्कच-दुर्योधनयुद्धवर्णनम्
Ghaṭotkaca–Duryodhana Engagement
(भीष्मो5पि दृष्टवा समरे कृतास्त्रान् स पाण्डवानां रथिनो हरुदारान् | विहाय संग्राममुखे धनंजयं जवेन पार्थ पुनराजगाम ।।
sañjaya uvāca | bhīṣmo 'pi dṛṣṭvā samare kṛtāstrān sa pāṇḍavānāṁ rathino hṛdārān | vihāya saṅgrāmamukhe dhanañjayaṁ javena pārtha punar ājagāma ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်—စစ်မြေပြင်၌ မိမိရှေ့တော်တွင် စိတ်ကောင်းနှလုံးကောင်းရှိသော ပाण्डဝရထားစစ်သူရဲများ အပြည့်အဝ လက်နက်တပ်ဆင်၍ တိုက်ရန်အသင့်ဖြစ်နေသည်ကို မြင်လျက်ပင်၊ ဘီရှ္မသည် တိုက်ပွဲရှေ့တန်း၌ ထိုသူတို့ကို ချန်ထားကာ အလွန်မြန်သော အရှိန်ဖြင့် ဓနဉ္ဇယ (အာర్జုန) ထံသို့ ပြန်လည်သွားရောက်하였다။ ဤအခန်းက ဘီရှ္မ၏ စစ်ရေးအရေးပေါ်မှုနှင့် စစ်၏ သဘောတရားနှင့် အနိုင်အရှုံးကို ဆုံးဖြတ်နိုင်သော အာర్జုနအပေါ် အာရုံစိုက်မှုကို ထင်ဟပ်စေသည်။
