भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)
पाण्डवा हि ततो राजन श्रुत्वा तं निनदं महत् । दध्मु: शड्खांश्न भेरीश्व मुरजांश्वाप्पनादयन्
pāṇḍavā hi tato rājan śrutvā taṃ ninadaṃ mahat | dadhmuḥ śaṅkhāṃś ca bherīś ca murajāṃś cāpy apānādayan ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– ထို့နောက် မဟာဘုရင်၊ ပाण्डဝတို့သည် ထိုကြီးမားသော ဟုန်းဟုန်းသံကို ကြားလျှင် သင်္ခများကို မှုတ်၍ ဘေရီနှင့် မုရဇာတို့ကိုလည်း တပြိုင်နက် အသံထွက်အောင် တီးခတ်ကြ၏။
