भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)
एवमुक्ते तु भीष्मेण पुत्रास्तव जनेश्वर । दध्मु: शड्खान् मुदा युक्ता भेरी: संजध्निरे भूशम्,जनेश्वर! भीष्मके ऐसा कहनेपर आपके पुत्र आनन्दमग्न होकर जोर-जोरसे शंख बजाने और डंका पीटने लगे
sañjaya uvāca | evam ukte tu bhīṣmeṇa putrās tava janeśvara | dadhmuḥ śaṅkhān mudā yuktā bherīḥ sañjaghnire bhūśam ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– ဘီရှ္မက ထိုသို့ဆိုပြီးနောက်၊ လူတို့၏အရှင်တော်၊ သင်၏သားတို့သည် ဝမ်းမြောက်လျက် ခေါင်းခွံ (သင်္ခ) များကို မှုတ်၍ စစ်ဒုံ (ဘေရီ) များကိုလည်း အလွန်ကျယ်လောင်စွာ တီးခတ်ကြ၏။
