भीष्मधनंजयद्वैरथम्
Bhīṣma–Dhanaṃjaya Duel and the Opening Clash
महता मेघनादेन रथेनामिततेजसा । विनिघ्नन् कौरवानीकं शूरसेनांश्व॒ पाण्डव:
mahātā megha-nādena rathenāmitatejasā | vinighnan kauravānīkaṁ śūrasenāṁś ca pāṇḍavaḥ ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– မိုးတိမ်ကြီး၏ ဟိန်းသံကဲ့သို့ ကြီးမားသော အသံထွက်သော၊ အလွန်တောက်ပ၍ တားမရသော ရထားဖြင့် ပाण्डဝ သူရဲကောင်းသည် ကೌရဝ စစ်တပ်ကို ချေမှုန်းကာ တန်းစီများကို ခွဲဖျက်ပြီး၊ ရှူရာစೇန (Śūrasena) စစ်သည်များကိုပါ အနိုင်ယူခဲ့၏။
