रथे भीष्मस्य चिक्षेप यथा देवो धनेश्वर: । उधर श्वेतने क्रोधसे व्याप्त हो उस गदाको आकाशमें घुमाकर भीष्मके रथपर फेंक दिया, मानो कुबेरने गदाका प्रहार किया हो ।।
rathe bhīṣmasya cikṣepa yathā devo dhaneśvaraḥ | tayā bhīṣmanipātinyā sa ratho bhasmasāt-kṛtaḥ ||
ထို့နောက် သူသည် ဘီရှ္မ၏ ရထားပေါ်သို့ ပစ်ချလိုက်သည်—ဓနရှင်ဘုရား ကုဗေရက မိမိ၏ဂဒါဖြင့် ထိုးနှက်သကဲ့သို့။ ဘီရှ္မကို လဲကျစေမည့် ထိုထိုးနှက်ချက်ကြောင့် ရထားသည် မီးခိုးပြာအဖြစ် ပျက်စီးသွား၏။
