कालदण्डोपमां घोरां मृत्योर्जिद्वामिव श्वसन् । अब्रवीच्च तदा श्वेतो भीष्मं शान्तनवं रणे
kāladaṇḍopamāṃ ghorāṃ mṛtyor jidvām iva śvasan | abravīc ca tadā śveto bhīṣmaṃ śāntanavaṃ raṇe ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်—ထိုအခါ ရှွေတသည် အသက်ရှူပြင်းပြင်းဖြင့် ယမ၏ဒဏ္ဍာတံနှင့်တူသကဲ့သို့ ကြောက်မက်ဖွယ်ကောင်းကာ မရဏ၏လျှာကဲ့သို့ ထင်မြင်ရသော ထိုကြမ်းကြုတ်သည့် လက်နက်ကို မြှောက်ယူပြီး စစ်မြေပြင်၌ သာန္တနု၏သား ဘီရှ္မအား ဤသို့ မိန့်ဆို하였다။
