चेकितानो<पि संरब्ध: सुशर्माणं महाहवे | प्राच्छादयत् तमिषुभिर्महामेघ इवाचलम्
Cekitāno 'pi saṃrabdhaḥ Suśarmāṇaṃ mahāhave | prācchādayat tam iṣubhir mahāmegha ivācalam ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– ထိုမဟာစစ်ပွဲ၌ ချေကိတားနလည်း ဒေါသတက်ကြွကာ သုရှာမာကို မြားမိုးထူထပ်ဖြင့် ဖုံးလွှမ်းပစ်ခတ်하였다—မဟာမိုးတိမ်ကြီးက မိုးရေဖြင့် တောင်တစ်လုံးကို ဖုံးအုပ်သကဲ့သို့ပင်။
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights kṣatriya-dharma in wartime: courage and decisive action are expected, yet the imagery also suggests that anger, when harnessed to duty, becomes a forceful but purposeful instrument rather than mere cruelty.
Cekitāna, stirred to anger, attacks Suśarmā in the thick of battle and overwhelms him with a barrage of arrows, likened to a rain-cloud covering a mountain with heavy rainfall.
