Educational Q&A

Awe of the divine should mature into steady, fearless devotion. The Lord’s revelation is not meant to crush the devotee with terror; it is balanced by compassion, restoring clarity and a form that supports sustained dharmic action.

After Arjuna has seen the overwhelming, fearsome divine manifestation, the Lord calms him: do not be shaken or confused; become fearless and joyful, and look again upon the familiar four-armed form with conch, discus, mace, and lotus.
