विक्रीडमानं कौन्तेयं हर्षण महता युतम्‌ । निहत्य तरसा शत्रुं महाबलसमन्वितम्‌

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | vikrīḍamānaṃ kaunteyaṃ harṣeṇa mahatā yutam | nihatya tarasā śatruṃ mahābalasamanvitam | niṣpāpa mahārāja |

Translation

သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်—အပြစ်ကင်းသော မဟာရာဇာ၊ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ကုန္တီ၏သား ဘီမကို မြင်ခဲ့ရသည်။ သူသည် အင်အားကြီးမားသော ရန်သူတစ်ဦးကို လျင်မြန်စွာ ထိုးနှက်သတ်ဖြတ်ပြီးနောက်၊ ကြီးမားသော ပျော်ရွှင်မှုဖြင့် မျက်နှာပြင်ပေါ်တွင် ကစားသလို အားရပါးရ ရွှင်လန်းနေ၏။ စစ်မြေ၌ အောင်ပွဲ၏ လှိုင်းထဲတွင် သူ၏ အောင်မြင်မှုစွမ်းအားသည် အောင်ပွဲအကအဖြစ် လွန်ကဲစွာ ထွက်ပေါ်လာပြီး၊ စစ်၏ ကြမ်းတမ်းသော တာဝန်သည်လည်း စစ်သူရဲ၏ နှလုံးသား၌ ပြင်းထန်သော ရင်ခုန်မှုကို မီးထိုးနိုင်ကြောင်း ပြသလေသည်။
