यः शक्तः समरे भीष्म॑ प्रतियोद्धुमिहाहवे । ऋते त्वां पुरुषव्याप्र सत्यमेतद् ब्रवीमि ते
yaḥ śaktaḥ samare bhīṣma pratīyoddhum ihāhave | ṛte tvāṃ puruṣavyāghra satyam etad bravīmi te ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– «ဤစစ်ပွဲ၌၊ ဤစစ်မြေပြင်ပေါ်၌ ဘီရှ္မကို တစ်ဦးချင်း ရင်ဆိုင်တိုက်ခိုက်နိုင်သူ ဘယ်သူရှိသနည်း—သင်မှတပါး? လူတို့အတွင်း ကျားတစ်ကောင်ကဲ့သို့သောသူရဲကောင်းရေ၊ ဤသည်ကို ငါ သင့်အား အမှန်တရားအဖြစ် ပြောသည်»။
