गदां विनिहतां दृष्टवा पार्षतः शत्रुतापन: । द्रोणाय शक्ति चिक्षेप सर्वपारशवीं शुभाम्
sañjaya uvāca | gadāṃ vinihatāṃ dṛṣṭvā pārṣataḥ śatrutāpanaḥ | droṇāya śaktiṃ cikṣepa sarvapārśavīṃ śubhām ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– မိမိ၏ ဂဒါ အကျိုးမဲ့သွားသည်ကို မြင်သော် ရန်သူများကို ဒုက္ခပေးသူ ပೃṣတ၏ သားတော် ဒૃಷ್ಟဒျုမ္နသည် ဒ్రోဏထံသို့ သံတုံးတစ်လုံးလုံးဖြင့် ပြုလုပ်ထားသော လှပသည့် ရှက္တိ (လှံ) ကို ပစ်လွှတ်하였다။ စစ်မြေပြင်၏ တာဝန်ကျင့်ဝတ်အရ လက်နက်တစ်ခု မအောင်မြင်လျှင် စစ်သည်သည် အခြားလက်နက်သို့ ချက်ချင်း ပြောင်းကာ မဟာဆရာ-စစ်ခေါင်းဆောင်တစ်ဦးကိုတောင် မลังမလျော့ တိုက်ခိုက်ဆက်လက်သည်။
