पार्थहेतो: पराक्रान्तो भीष्मस्यायो धन प्रति । राजन! भीष्मजीके साथ युद्ध करनेमें अर्जुनकी सहायताके लिये पराक्रम करनेवाले सुभद्राकुमार अभिमन्युने राजकुमार बृहद्वलके साथ युद्ध किया
sañjaya uvāca | pārtha-hetoḥ parākrānto bhīṣmasya āyodhanaṃ prati | rājan, bhīṣmajīke sātha yuddha karane meṃ arjunakī sahāyatā ke liye parākrama karanevāle subhadrā-kumāra abhimanyune rāja-kumāra bṛhadvalake sātha yuddha kiyā |
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်—အို မင်းကြီး၊ သုဘဒြာ၏ သားတော် သတ္တိပြင်းထန်သော အဘိမညုသည် အာဂျုနကို ကူညီရန်အတွက် ဘီရှ္မ၏ စစ်မျက်နှာသို့ တိုးဝင်သွား하였다။ ဘီရှ္မနှင့် တိုက်ခိုက်နေသော အာဂျုနကို ထောက်ကူရန် ရည်ရွယ်၍ သူသည် မင်းသား ဘృဟဒ္ဗလနှင့် တိုက်ပွဲဝင်ခဲ့သည်။ ဤအခန်းကဏ္ဍသည် စစ်၏ အကျင့်သီလအလေးချိန်ကြားတွင်ပင် မိမိဘက်နှင့် မိမိအမျိုးအနွယ်အပေါ် သစ္စာတည်ကြည်သော တာဝန်ကို ထင်ဟပ်စေသည်။
