Multiple Defensive Engagements to Protect Bhīṣma

तामापतन्तीं सहसा द्विधा चिच्छेद भारत: । क्षुप्राभ्यां सुतीक्षणा भ्यां सा व्यशीर्यत मेदिनीम्‌

Transliteration

tām āpatantīṃ sahasā dvidhā ciccheda bhārataḥ | kṣuraprābhyāṃ sutīkṣṇābhyāṃ sā vyaśīryata medinīm ||

Translation

သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– ချက်ချင်းပင် တိုးဝင်လာသော ထိုအာဝုဓကို ဘာရတမျိုးနွယ် ဘီရှ္မသည် အလွန်ထက်မြက်သော က္ရှုရပရ (kṣurapra) မြားနှစ်စင်းဖြင့် ချက်ချင်း နှစ်ပိုင်း ခွဲဖြတ်လိုက်၏။ ခွဲကွဲပျက်စီးကာ မြေပြင်ပေါ်သို့ ကျသွားလေ၏။
