यदा दानरुचि: स्याद् वै तदा धर्मो न सीदति । अनवेक्ष्य सुतस्नेहं कलत्रस्नेहमेव च
yadā dānaruciḥ syād vai tadā dharmo na sīdati | anavekṣya sutasnehaṃ kalatrasnehameva ca ||
ပေးကမ်းလိုစိတ် ပေါ်ပေါက်လာသောအခါ ဓမ္မသည် မကျဆင်း။ သားသမီးအပေါ် ချစ်ခင်တွယ်တာမှုကို မကြည့်ဘဲ၊ ဇနီး/ခင်ပွန်းအပေါ် တွယ်တာမှုကိုလည်း မထားဘဲ ပေးကမ်းသင့်၏။
