उत्तड़क उवाच राजन गुर्वर्थिनं विद्धि चरन्तं मामिहागतम्‌ । न च गुर्वर्थमुद्युक्त हिंस्पमाहुर्मनीषिण:

Transliteration

Uttaṅka uvāca: rājan gurv-arthinaṃ viddhi carantaṃ mām ihāgatam | na ca gurv-artham udyuktaṃ hiṃsam āhur manīṣiṇaḥ ||

Translation

ဥတ္တင်္ကက ပြောသည်။ “အရှင်ဘုရင်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်ကို ဆရာ၏ အလိုတော်ကို ပြည့်စုံစေလိုသူဟု သိမှတ်ပါ။ ထိုအတွက် လှည့်လည်ရှာဖွေနေရင်း ဤနေရာသို့ ရောက်လာခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။ ပညာရှိတို့က ‘ဆရာဒက္ခိဏာအတွက် လိုအပ်သည့်အရာကို စုဆောင်းရန် အလေးအနက် ကြိုးပမ်းနေသူကို မထိခိုက်သင့်’ ဟု ဆိုကြသည်။”
