Brahmā’s Instruction on Elements and Faculties
अधिभूतं रसश्चात्र सोमस्तत्राधिदेवतम् । जलको चौथा भूत समझना चाहिये। रसना उसका अध्यात्म, रस उसका अधिभूत और चन्द्रमा उसका अधिदैवत कहा जाता है
vāyudeva uvāca | adhibhūtaṃ rasaś cātra somas tatrādhidaivatam | jalakaś caturthaṃ bhūtaṃ samajñeyaḥ | rasanā tasya adhyātmaṃ, rasaḥ adhibhūtaḥ, candramāḥ tasya adhidaivataṃ ucyate |
ဝါယုက မိန့်တော်မူသည်– «ဤနေရာ၌ အရသာ (rasa) သည် အဓိဘူတ (adhibhūta) ဟူသော အပြင်ဘက်အရာဝတ္ထုအဖြစ် နားလည်ရမည်၊ စိုးမ (Soma) — လဖြစ်သောသူ — သည် အဓိဒೈဝတ (adhidaivata) ဟူသော အုပ်စိုးသည့် သာသနာတော်ဘုရားဖြစ်သည်»။ ဤအကြောင်းအရာ၌ ရေဓာတ်ကို ကြမ်းတမ်းသော ဓာတ်များအနက် စတုတ္ထဓာတ်ဟု ယူရမည်။ လျှာသည် ၎င်း၏ အဓျာတ်မ (adhyātma) ဖြစ်၍၊ အရသာသည် အဓိဘူတ ဖြစ်ကာ၊ လကို အဓိဒైဝတ ဟု ကြေညာထားသည်။
