Adhyāya 42 — Mahābhūta–Indriya–Adhyātma-Vyavasthā
Brahmā’s Instruction on Elements and Faculties
अत: परं प्रवक्ष्यामि सर्व विविधमिन्द्रियम् । आकाशं प्रथम भूत॑ श्रोत्रमध्यात्ममुच्यते
ataḥ paraṁ pravakṣyāmi sarva-vidham indriyam | ākāśaṁ prathama-bhūtaṁ śrotram adhyātmam ucyate ||
ဝါယုက မိန့်တော်မူသည်– «ယခုမှစ၍ အင်္ဒြိယစနစ်ကို အမျိုးမျိုးစုံစုံ ပြည့်စုံစွာ ငါရှင်းလင်းမည်။ အာကာသ (ākāśa) သည် ဓာတ်တို့အနက် ပထမဓာတ်ဟု ကြေညာထားပြီး၊ ကြားနာခြင်း (နား) ကို ၎င်းနှင့် ကိုက်ညီသော အတွင်းပိုင်း ဝိညာဉ်ဆိုင်ရာ စွမ်းအင်ဟု ဆိုကြ၏»။
