Sāttvika-vṛtta-kathana (Brahmā on the Conduct of Sattva) — Chapter 38

क्षमा धृतिरहिंसा च समता सत्यमार्जवम्‌ | अक्रोधश्वानसूया च शौचं दाक्ष्यं पराक्रम:

kṣamā dhṛtir ahiṃsā ca samatā satyam ārjavam | akrodhaś cān asūyā ca śaucaṃ dākṣyaṃ parākramaḥ ||

ဝါယုဒေဝက မိန့်တော်မူသည်– «သည်းခံခြင်း၊ တည်ကြည်ခိုင်မာခြင်း၊ အဟിംသာ (အကြမ်းမဖက်ခြင်း)၊ စိတ်ညီမျှခြင်း၊ သစ္စာတရားနှင့် ဖြောင့်မတ်ရိုးသားခြင်း၊ ဒေါသကင်းခြင်း၊ အပြစ်ရှာမပြောခြင်း၊ သန့်ရှင်းခြင်း၊ ကျွမ်းကျင်မှုနှင့် သတ္တိဗလ—ဤအရာတို့သည် စတ္တဝဂုဏ် (sattva-guṇa) ၏ လက္ခဏာပြ အင်္ဂါရပ်များ ဖြစ်သည်»။
