brāhmaṇy uvāca | nedam alpātmanā śakyaṁ vedituṁ nākṛtātmanā | bahu cālpaṁ ca saṁkṣiptaṁ viplutaṁ ca mataṁ mama ||
ဗြာဟ္မဏမိန်းမက ပြောသည်– «အတွင်းအားနည်းသူ၊ မိမိကိုယ်ကို မထိန်းသိမ်းနိုင်သူတို့အတွက် ဤအရာကို တကယ်တမ်း နားလည်ရန် မဖြစ်နိုင်ပါ။ ငါသိမြင်ထားသမျှသည် တစ်ပြိုင်နက်တည်း များလည်းများ၊ နည်းလည်းနည်း—အတိုချုံးထားသဖြင့်—ငါ့အမြင်သည် ပြန့်ကျဲ၍ မတည်ငြိမ်သကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်နေသည်»။
