Arjuna’s request to Krishna and the opening of the Kāśyapa–Brāhmaṇa mokṣa discourse (Āśvamedhika-parva 16)
ब्राह्मण उवाच मोक्षधर्म समाश्रित्य कृष्ण यन्मामपृच्छथा: । भूतानामनुकम्पार्थ यन्मोहच्छेदनं विभो
brāhmaṇa uvāca: mokṣadharma-samāśritya kṛṣṇa yan mām apṛcchathāḥ | bhūtānām anukampārthaṃ yan moha-cchedanaṃ vibho ||
ဘြာဟ္မဏက ပြောသည်– «ကృష్ణရေ၊ မဓုသူဒနရေ၊ သတ္တဝါအားလုံးအပေါ် ကရုဏာဖြင့် မောဟကို ဖြတ်တောက်လိုသော ရည်ရွယ်ချက်ကြောင့် မောက္ခဓမ္မနှင့် ဆက်နွယ်သော ဤမေးခွန်းကို မင်းက ငါ့အား မေးမြန်းခဲ့သဖြင့်၊ အင်အားကြီးသူရေ—ငါသည် အမှန်အတိုင်း တိတိကျကျ ဖြေကြားမည်။ အရှင်ရေ၊ မာဓဝရေ—ငါ့စကားကို အာရုံစိုက်၍ နားထောင်လော့»။
