बृहस्पति याजकं त्वं वृणीष्व वजन वा ते प्रहरिष्यामि घोरम् । वचदश्षेदेतन्न करिष्यसे मे प्राहैतदेतावदचिन्त्यकर्मा
vyāsa uvāca | bṛhaspatiṃ yājakaṃ tvaṃ vṛṇīṣva vajraṃ vā te prahariṣyāmi ghoraṃ | vacaś ced etan na kariṣyase me prāha etāvad acintyakarmā ||
ဗျာသက ပြောသည်—သာမန်အတိုင်းအတာကို ကျော်လွန်သော လုပ်ရပ်များရှိသည့် အိန္ဒြာက «အို မင်းကြီး၊ သင်၏ ယဇ်ပူဇော်ပွဲအတွက် ပုရောဟိတ်အဖြစ် ဗြဟ္စပတိ (Bṛhaspati) ကို ရွေးချယ်လော့။ ငါ၏ အမိန့်ကို မလိုက်နာလျှင် ငါသည် ကြောက်မက်ဖွယ် ဝဇ္ဇရ (မိုးကြိုးလက်နက်) ဖြင့် သင့်ကို ထိုးနှက်မည်» ဟု ကြေညာ하였다။
