धृतराष्ट्रस्य स्पर्शाभिलाषः — Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Request for Touch and Permission for Tapas

dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | saṃdhivigraham apy atra paśyethā rājasattama | dviyonim vividhopāyaṃ bahukalpaṃ yudhiṣṭhira ||

ဓृतရာष္ဌရက ပြောသည်– «အို မင်းတို့အနက် အမြတ်ဆုံး ယုဓိဋ္ဌိရ! ဤနေရာ၌ သင်သည် သဘောတူညီမှု (သန္ဓိ) နှင့် ပဋိပက္ခ/စစ် (ဝိဂြဟ) တို့ကိုလည်း သတိထားကြည့်ရှုရမည်။ ၎င်းတို့၏ အခြေခံမှာ နှစ်မျိုးရှိ၏—အင်အားကြီးသော ရန်သူနှင့် သန္ဓိပြုခြင်း၊ အင်အားနည်းသော ရန်သူကို စစ်ဖွင့်ခြင်း။ ၎င်းတို့ကို အသုံးချရာတွင် နည်းလမ်းမျိုးစုံရှိပြီး ပုံစံလည်း များစွာရှိသည်»။
