Vyāsa’s Inquiry into Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Tapas and the Identification of Vidura with Dharma

दुर्योधनप्रभूतयो दृष्टा लोकान्तरं गता: । व्यासस्य तपसो वीर्याद्‌ भवतश्न समागमात्‌

Transliteration

duryodhana-prabhūtayo dṛṣṭā lokāntaraṃ gatāḥ | vyāsasya tapaso vīryād bhavataś ca samāgamāt ||

Translation

ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပာယနက ပြော၏ — «ဒုရ്യောဓနနှင့် အခြားသူတို့၊ အခြားလောကသို့ ကွယ်လွန်သွားသူတို့ကို မြင်တွေ့ခဲ့ရပြီ။ ဗျာသ၏ တပသျာအာနုဘော်၏ အင်အားနှင့် သင်၏ ရောက်လာ၍ ငါနှင့် ဆုံတွေ့ခြင်းကြောင့်၊ အလွန်ဘက်လောက၌ နေထိုင်သော ငါ၏ သားတို့ကို ငါ မြင်ကွင်းရခဲ့သည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် ငါ အသက်ရှင်နေရခြင်း၏ ရည်ရွယ်ချက် ပြည့်စုံသွားပြီ။ အပြစ်ကင်းသူရေ၊ ယခုမှစ၍ ငါသည် ပြင်းထန်သော တပသျာကို ဆောင်ရွက်မည်; ထိုအတွက် ငါ့အား ခွင့်ပြုပါ»။
