कश्यप उवाच नैतस्थेह यथास्माकं चत्वारश्न सहोदरा: । देहि देहीति भिक्षन्ति तेन पीवाउछुना सह

Transliteration

kaśyapa uvāca | naitastheha yathāsmākaṃ catvāraś ca sahodarāḥ | dehi dehīti bhikṣanti tena pīvau chunā saha |

Translation

ကာရှျယပက ပြောသည်– «ဤသူ၏ ‘ဝဝလုံးလုံး’ ဖြစ်ခြင်းသည် ငါတို့ကဲ့သို့ မဟုတ်။ ငါတို့တွင် မိခင်တူညီသော ညီအစ်ကို လေးယောက်ရှိပြီး နေ့တိုင်း ‘ပေးပါ၊ ပေးပါ’ ဟု ငါတို့ထံမှ တောင်းခံကြသည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် ကြီးမားသော အိမ်ထောင်စုကို အစားအစာနှင့် အဝတ်အစား ပံ့ပိုးရသော ဝန်ကို ငါတို့ ထမ်းရသည်။ ဤသံဃာတော်ကတော့ ထိုကဲ့သို့ စိုးရိမ်ပူပန်မှု မရှိ။ ထို့ကြောင့် သူသည် ရိုးရိုးကြမ်းကြမ်း အစာသာရှိသော်လည်း ခွေးနှင့်အတူ ကောင်းကောင်းအာဟာရပြည့်ဝနေသည်»။
