On the Fruits of Austerity and Giving
चित्रशालाक्ष विविधास्तोरणानि च भारत । शाद्वलोपचितां भूमिं तथा काञ्चनकुट्टिमाम्
citraśālā-kṣāḥ vividhās toraṇāni ca bhārata | śādvalopacitāṃ bhūmiṃ tathā kāñcana-kuṭṭimām ||
ဘီရှ္မက မိန့်ကြားသည်—“အို ဘာရတ၊ ထိုနေရာ၌ အလှဆင်ကောင်းမွန်သော ခန်းမများနှင့် တံခါးမုခ်များ အမျိုးမျိုး များစွာရှိ၏။ မြေပြင်သည် စိမ်းလန်းသစ်လွင်သော မြက်ခင်းဖြင့် ဖုံးလွှမ်းထားပြီး၊ ထို့အပြင် ရွှေရောင်ခင်းကျင်းထားသော ကြမ်းပြင်လည်း ရှိ၏။”
