Cyavana’s Yogic Display and Kuśika’s Recognition of Tapas (च्यवन-योगप्रभावः कुशिकस्य तपःप्रशंसा च)
नहुष बोले--विप्रवर! इन निषादोंको एक लाख मुद्रा दीजिये। (यों पुरोहितको आज्ञा देकर वे मुनिसे बोले--) भगवन्! क्या यह आपका उचित मूल्य हो सकता है या अभी आप कुछ और देना चाहते हैं? ।।
cyavana uvāca | nāhaṃ śatasahasreṇa nimeyaḥ pārthivarṣabha | dīyatāṃ sadṛśaṃ mūlyam amātyaiḥ saha cintaya ||
စျဝန မဟာရသီက မိန့်တော်မူသည်—«အို မင်းတို့အနက် အထူးမြတ်သော မင်းကြီး၊ ငါ့ကို သိန်းတစ်သိန်းမျှသာဖြင့် မတန်ဖိုးသတ်မှတ်ပါနှင့်။ သင့်လျော်သော ဆပ်ကပ်ခြင်းကို ပေးလော့။ မင်း၏ အမတ်တို့နှင့်အတူ ဤကိစ္စကို စဉ်းစားဆုံးဖြတ်လော့»။
