च्यवन उवाच सहस्रन॑ नाहमहामि किं वा त्वं मन्‍्यसे नृप । सदृशं दीयतां मूल्यं स्वबुद्ध्या निश्चयं कुरु

Transliteration

Cyavana uvāca: sahasreṇa nāham ahāmi kiṁ vā tvaṁ manyase nṛpa | sadṛśaṁ dīyatāṁ mūlyaṁ svabuddhyā niścayaṁ kuru ||

Translation

ချျဝနက ပြောသည်– «အို နရေရှွရ (လူတို့၏အရှင်)၊ ငါသည် တစ်ထောင်မျှသော ဒင်္ဂါဖြင့် ဝယ်ယူရမည့်အရာ မဟုတ်။ မင်းသည် ငါ့တန်ဖိုးကို ထိုမျှသာဟု ထင်သလော။ ငါနှင့် သင့်တော်သော အဖိုးကို ပေးလော့။ မိမိ၏ ဉာဏ်ဖြင့် စဉ်းစား၍ ထိုအဖိုး မည်မျှဖြစ်သင့်သည်ကို သေချာဆုံးဖြတ်လော့»။
