शौचं कृत्वा यथान्यायं प्राज्जलि: प्रयतो नृप: । आत्मानमाचचक्षे च च्यवनाय महात्मने,उन्होंने पवित्रभावसे हाथ जोड़कर मनको एकाग्र रखते हुए न््यायोचित रीतिसे महात्मा च्यवनको अपना परिचय दिया
śaucaṃ kṛtvā yathānyāyaṃ prāñjaliḥ prayato nṛpaḥ | ātmānam ācacakṣe ca cyavanāya mahātmane ||
သင့်တော်သည့်နည်းအတိုင်း သန့်စင်မှုကို ပြုလုပ်ပြီးနောက်၊ ဘုရင်သည် လက်အုပ်ချီကာ စိတ်ကို ထိန်းသိမ်းတည်ငြိမ်စေ၍ မဟာသတ္တိရှိသော ရိရှီ ချျဝနထံ မိမိကိုယ်ကို မိတ်ဆက်하였다။ ဤမြင်ကွင်းသည် မှန်ကန်သော အကျင့်သည် အတွင်းအပြင် သန့်ရှင်းမှု၊ နှိမ့်ချမှု၊ နှင့် အလေးအနက်ထား၍ မိမိကိုယ်ကို တင်ပြခြင်းမှ စတင်ကြောင်းကို ထင်ဟပ်စေသည်။
