Strī-satkāra (On honoring women) — Mahābhārata 13.46
कुर्वाणं हि नरं कर्म पापं रहसि सर्वदा | पश्यन्ति ऋतवश्वापि तथा दिननिशे<प्युत,एकान्तमें पापकर्म करते हुए पुरुषको ऋतुएँ तथा रात-दिन सदा देखते रहते हैं
kurvāṇaṃ hi naraṃ karma pāpaṃ rahasi sarvadā | paśyanti ṛtavaś cāpi tathā dinaniśe 'py uta ||
ဝိပုလက ပြောသည်—လူတစ်ယောက်က လျှို့ဝှက်နေရာ၌ အပြစ်ကိစ္စများကို ပြုလုပ်နေသော်လည်း အမှန်တကယ် မမြင်မသိဖြစ်နေခြင်း မရှိချေ။ ရာသီများနှင့် နေ့ညတို့သည် အစဉ်မပြတ် သက်သေခံနေကြသည်။ ဤသင်ခန်းစာသည် သတ္တဝါ၏ ကာရမအကျိုးဆက်မှ လွတ်မြောက်၍ မရကြောင်းကို ဆိုလိုသည်—ဖုံးကွယ်ထားသော အမှားတောင် အချိန်နှင့် လောက၏ စည်းကမ်းအောက်တွင် ထင်ရှားနေဆဲဖြစ်သည်။
