तस्य भार्या रुचिनाम रूपेणासदृशी भुवि । पहलेकी बात है, देवशर्मा नामके एक महा-भाग्यशाली ऋषि थे। उनके रुचि नामवाली एक स्त्री थी जो इस पृथ्वीपर अद्वितीय सुन्दरी थी
tasya bhāryā rucinām rūpeṇāsadṛśī bhuvi |
ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်– «သူ၏ ဇနီးသည် ရုချီ (Rucī) ဟု အမည်ရပြီး၊ ဤမြေပြင်ပေါ်တွင် အလှအပဖြင့် မတူမယှဉ်နိုင်သူ ဖြစ်သည်»။ ဇာတ်ကြောင်းသည် စံပြအိမ်ထောင်ရေးအခြေအနေကို မိတ်ဆက်ကာ—အပြင်ပန်းထူးချွန်မှု (အလှ၊ ကံကောင်းခြင်း) ကို နောက်ပိုင်းတွင် အကျင့်အကြံ၊ ထိန်းသိမ်းမှုနှင့် ဓမ္မကို မိသားစုဘဝအတွင်း ပြန်လည်သုံးသပ်ရန် နောက်ခံအဖြစ် တင်ထားသည်။
