अन्धेन तमसा लोका:ः प्रावृता न चकाशिरे । प्रणष्टा ज्योतिषां भाश्व सह सूर्येण भारत
andhena tamasā lokāḥ prāvṛtā na ca kāśire | praṇaṣṭā jyotiṣāṃ bhāśva saha sūryeṇa bhārata ||
လောကအားလုံးသည် မျက်စိကန်းစေသကဲ့သို့ အမှောင်ထုကြီးဖြင့် ဖုံးလွှမ်းခံရ၍ မတောက်ပတော့ချေ။ အို ဘာရတ! နေမင်းနှင့်အတူ ကြယ်များ၊ ဂြိုဟ်များ၏ တောက်ပသော အလင်းရောင်တို့လည်း မြင်ကွင်းမှ ပျောက်ကွယ်သွားကြ၏။
