सेवितं सततं राजन पुरा राजर्षिसत्तमै: । क्षत्रधर्मपरैर्नित्यं सत्यव्रतपरायणै:

Transliteration

sevitaṃ satataṃ rājan purā rājarṣisattamaiḥ | kṣatradharmaparair nityaṃ satyavrataparāyaṇaiḥ ||

Translation

ဘီရှ္မက မိန့်တော်မူသည်—«အို မင်းကြီး၊ ရှေးကာလ၌ ဤ(မန္တရ/အကျင့်)ကို အမြင့်မြတ်ဆုံး ရာဇဋ္ဌာနဋ္ဌာန ရှင်သန်သူ ရာဇရ္ဓိများက အစဉ်မပြတ် လေ့ကျင့်ကျင့်သုံးကြသည်။ သူတို့သည် က္ṣatriya တာဝန်ဓမ္မကို အမြဲတမ်း လိုက်နာသူများဖြစ်၍ သစ္စာဝတ္တရား၏ ဝရတကိုလည်း ခိုင်မြဲစွာ ထိန်းသိမ်းသူများဖြစ်ကြ၏။ ထိုမန္တရကို အမြဲတမ်း ရွတ်ဆိုကြသည်»။
