Adhyāya 152 — Bhīṣma’s Authorization for Yudhiṣṭhira’s Return to the Capital (नगरप्रवेशानुज्ञा)
श्वश्रूश्वशुरयो: पादौ जोषयन्ती गुणान्विता । मातापितृपरा नित्यं या नारी सा तपोधना
śvaśrūśvaśurayoḥ pādau joṣayantī guṇānvitā | mātāpitr̥parā nityaṁ yā nārī sā tapodhanā ||
မဟာဒေဝ မိန့်တော်မူသည်— ကောင်းမွန်သော ဂုဏ်သတ္တိများနှင့် ပြည့်စုံ၍ မိခင်ယောက္ခမနှင့် ဖခင်ယောက္ခတို့၏ ခြေတော်ကို အမြဲတမ်း ရိုသေစွာ ပြုစုဝန်ဆောင်သူ၊ ထို့ပြင် မိမိ၏ မိဘနှစ်ပါးအပေါ်လည်း အစဉ်မပြတ် သဒ္ဓါတရားဖြင့် အလေးထားသူ မိန်းမသည် တပဿ (tapas) ဟူသော အကျင့်တရား၏ ဓနဖြင့် ကြွယ်ဝသူဟု မှတ်ယူကြသည်။
