एष श्राद्धविधि: प्रोक्तो यथा धर्मो न लुप्यते । पितरस्तस्य तुष्यन्ति प्रहष्टटनस: सदा
eṣa śrāddhavidhiḥ prokto yathā dharmo na lupyate | pitaras tasya tuṣyanti praharṣaṭanasāḥ sadā ||
ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်– «ဤသို့ သြရဒ္ဓ (śrāddha) ၏ နည်းလမ်းကို ဓမ္မ (dharma) မလျော့မပျက်စေရန် ကြေညာခဲ့ပြီ။ ထိုသို့ ပြုလုပ်သူကို ပိတೃ (Pitṛs) အဘိုးအဘွားဝိညာဉ်တို့သည် အမြဲတမ်း ဝမ်းမြောက်နှစ်သက်ကြ၏။»
