भीष्म उवाच इति भूमेर्वच: श्रुत्वा वासुदेव: प्रतापवान्‌ । तथा चकार सतत त्वमप्येवं सदाचर

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | iti bhūmervacaḥ śrutvā vāsudevaḥ pratāpavān | tathā cakāra satataṃ tvam apy evaṃ sadācara ||

Translation

ဘိဿမက မိန့်သည်– «ယုဓိဋ္ဌိရရေ၊ မြေမယ်တော်၏ ဤစကားများကို ကြားပြီးနောက် အာနုဘော်ကြီးသော ဝါစုဒေဝ (သီရိကృష్ణ) သည် ထိုအတိုင်း လိုက်နာကာ အိမ်ထောင်ရှင်ဓမ္မကို စည်းကမ်းတကျ အမြဲတမ်း ကျင့်သုံးခဲ့သည်။ သင်လည်း ထိုဓမ္မများကို အမြဲတမ်း လေ့ကျင့်ထိန်းသိမ်းလော့»။
