Transliteration

Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca |

Gārhasthyaṁ dharmam akhilaṁ prabrūhi bharatarṣabha |

Ṛddhim āpnoti kiṁ kṛtvā manuṣya iha pārthiva ||

Translation

ယုဓိဋ္ဌိရက ပြောသည်— «အို ဘာရတတို့အနက် အထက်မြတ်သူ၊ အိမ်ထောင်ရှင်ဘဝ (gārhasthya) ၏ ဓမ္မအားလုံးကို အပြည့်အစုံ ကျွန်ုပ်အား ဟောကြားပါ။ ဤလောက၌ လူသည် မည်သည့် ကုသိုလ်ကံများကို ပြုလုပ်ခြင်းဖြင့် စည်းစိမ်ချမ်းသာကို ရရှိနိုင်သနည်း၊ အို မင်းကြီး?»
