धर्मात्मा च महात्मा च प्रजापाल: पिता तव | आसीदिह यथावृत्त: स महात्मा शृणुष्व तत्‌

Transliteration

janamejaya uvāca | dharmātmā ca mahātmā ca prajā-pālaḥ pitā tava | āsīd iha yathāvṛttaḥ sa mahātmā śṛṇuṣva tat ||

Translation

အမတ်များက ဆိုသည်– «အို မင်းကြီး၊ သင်၏ အဖတော်သည် ဓမ္မစိတ်ရှိသူ၊ မဟာစိတ်ရှိသူ၊ ပြည်သူကို ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်သူ ဖြစ်၏။ ယခု နားထောင်ပါ—ထိုမြတ်သော မင်းသည် ဤလောက၌ မည်သို့ အကျင့်အကြံကို ထိန်းသိမ်း၍ သင့်လျော်သော ထုံးတမ်းအတိုင်း နေထိုင်ခဲ့သနည်း»။
